Ecomondo, the leading event in Europe for green technologies and new models of circular economy, is an international exhibition with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform: from material and energy recovery to sustainable development. Since 23 years companies, industrial associations and research bodies, together with local public Administrations, Ministries, the European Commission and the OECD meet at the Rimini Fair to exchange best practices, trace strategies and identify the most innovative trends.

Climate-KIC decided to participate to the Ecomondo event, to make our community and initiatives known: Merezzate+ project will be presented Friday 8th November, at 11.30 am, at Climate-KIC stand 203, HALL SUD.

Friday 29^th November, hosted in Politecnico di Milano Aula Magna, took place the periodic “Stakeholder updating meeting” of Merezzate+ project.

Almost 40 people participated among partners, third parties and stakeholders involved in the project activities.

The morning session has been the occasion to share and discuss the current status of Merezzate+ project with regard to the community involvement activities and the technical ones in each pillar (energy – mobility – circular economy).

In the afternoon, there have been three thematic working groups, dedicated to “The sustainable mobility vision 2030 for Merezzate+ area and neighbouring districts”, to “Merezzate+ circular district: from waste management to sustainable procurement” and to the dissemination and replication activities.
